Shishapangma is contemplated as our most scenic and secluded tour in comparison with others in Tibet. Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01
    Welcome to Kathmandu (1400m.)

    After you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representative at the airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel. You will be briefly described about your tour and check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is all yours and overnight at hotel.

  • Day 02
    Kathmandu

    Today, you will be going around cultural heritages enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu valley – the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the world biggest Stupa, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath Stupa (monkey temple) and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and amazing Kumari House widely known as Living Goddess in Basantapur of central Kathmandu.

  • Day 03
    Drive to Border, Cross Border and Drive to Nyalam (3750m.)

    After you leave Kathmandu in an early morning, you begin your drive with a small trip via tempting Nepalese countryside. You will complete all the official procedures as soon as you reach the border. You will be ascending a rope of vertical switchback on our path to Nyalam. Beauty of cascading waterfalls and Mossy gullies surround you all over the way.

  • Day 04
    Rest Day at Nyalam for Acclimatization

    It is a day for you to respite in the attractiveness of Nyalam. Today, you rest and suitably adapt for trekking in top heights. To give some enthusiasm to the day, you will be visiting Nyalam Pelgye Ling, a small temple off the town.

  • Day 05
    Trek to Draabochhan (4110m.)

    You begin your trekking venture today. You start by heading out of the city along the Tshongde Phu river gorge. It is up to you to decide whether you make the first day short and head to the camp at Draabochhan or arrange the pilgrimage trek to Tara Tsho Lake. The magical lake is worth it if you choose the sharp walk down the way. According to legends, the lake was made from a piece of ice that a lama passed along with him from Mt. Kailash. Stone monuments and good looking prayer flags coat the bank of the lake. You will be spending the night in a relaxing encampment at Draabochhan.

  • Day 06
    Trek to Shingdip (4560M.)

    It is your second day of the trek which directs you to the top of the point. Budding Rhododendrons and attractive views encircle you as you go after the point. You will spend your night in a remarkable meadow camp in Shingdip. Today you will make your trek a less difficult and get a good sleep because you will be reaching the base camp tomorrow.

  • Day 07
    Trek to Base Camp (4980m.)

    You will be heading west today following the ridge once more. The Jugal Himal crest emerges above you as you hike. You will reach the base camp after walking for two hours. The saddest part is that there won’t be any views at the base camp but you will have a lot of time to visit the boulder plateaus and glacial Lakes which offers you a splendid outlook.

  • Day 08
    Trek to Draabochhan (4110m.)

    After the base camp, you will be descending back to Draabochhan. On the way, incredible meadows, views of Jugal Himal and rhododendrons will be surrounding you.

  • Day 09
    Trek to Nyalam (3780m.)

    It is your ninth day and you are following your way back through the Tshongde Phu river gorge. You will be spending your night at Nyalam after another startling day of trekking.

  • Day 10
    Drive to Lhatse (4350m.)

    Today, you will be spending your day with sightseeing and driving as you look closer to the extreme difference in the green hills and infertile Tibetan Plateau. Through the day, different high passes and Lalung La will be crossed. When passing the way, the complete Himalayan range and extensive views of Mt. Everest can be seen.

  • Day 11
    Drive to Shigatse (3900m.)

    The beauties of the drive go on as you cross Gyamtso La, the uppermost pass of your ride. Different herders and strings of quiet monasteries can be seen on the way. After the long ride, you are staying in traditional hotels in Shigatse which is one of the biggest cities in Tibet.

  • Day 12
    Drive to Gyantse (3950m.)

    You are driving a small distance today. Your morning will be spent on exploring the Tashilunpo Monasteries which is the largest functioning monasteries left in Tibet and which will also be our first factual understanding of Tibetan culture. The small city of Gyantse will be our last destination. As you see the Khumbum and Gyantse Dzong, you will be given the chance of practicing more marvelous Tibetan culture. From the ancient Dzong fort, liberal sights of the gorge can be seen. The Khumbum is enclosed by small chapel houses and several Tibetan Murals. You will be amazed by the ancient architecture and Murals even if you aren’t an art expert.

  • Day 13
    Drive to Lhasa (3680m.)

    Today, you head to the Karo La Pass. There, a soaring glacier goes up virtually straight up from the path. As you drive throughout the numerous little towns today, many more is seen. Your day will stop in Lhasa at the Dhood Gu Hotel.

  • Day 14
    Exploring the Lhasa (3680m.)

    In an early morning, you will be visiting to Jokhang Temple. The temple is the most honored holy place in all of Tibet and it is continually busy with spiritual worshippers. You will be shopping in Barkour today which is the most crowded central bazaar of Lhasa. You will be visiting Sera Monastery in the evening. This holy monastery is situated a few miles north of Lhasa. It is a home to several hundred Monks where the debating actions are practiced frequently at 3-4 pm.

  • Day 15
    Further Exploration of Lhasa

    Without experiencing the Vital Potala Palace, a journey to Tibet would not be a total satisfaction. It is the Lhasa’s Cardinal Landmark and is a marvel of eastern structural design. It was a home of Dalai Lama and it has been there since the fifth or sixth century. The startling day will end after a visit to the Drepung Monastery. Drepung monastery is there in a hidden rocky point further than the city. It is one of the world’s largest Monasteries where 10,000 monks shifted down and made it their homes. Astonishingly, the most building were left intact during several hundreds of years.

  • Day 16
    Fly Back to Kathmandu or your Destination

    It is the end of the journey and you fly back to Kathmandu with so many thoughts in your minds.
