ANNAPURNA ROUND TREKKING

I was recommended to Birendra and his trekking company Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks and Expedition from a friend in Los Angeles. They have been friends for years and he was a guide to my friend at that time. Birendra set me up with a guide by the name of Sunil, who quickly became my friend. I went on the Annapurna Round Trek and spent 17 days on the trail. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and I owe much of that to having a great guide who took the time to explain about the culture and ways of Nepali life and looking out for small experiences for me to enjoy that I would have otherwise missed. I also had a small dose of altitude sickness which he read well and handled perfectly. Nepal is about seeing the wonderful nature, but it is as much about being with the people. NEPAL – BHUTAN TOUR

I have recently travelled to Nepal and Bhutan with my friend, David and my parents. After checking through the websites, I decided to choose Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks.I am glad that I had made the best choice for myself. My initial plan was to travel Nepal and Tibet, but due to the political turmoil in Lhasa and Tibet, I had to make last minute adjustments to my trip.This was when Mr.Birendra came in to the rescue. I would like to thank him for his efficiency and flexibility for being able to change my travel itineraries from Tibet to Bhutan in less than 2 weeks notice. That’s amazing, and you saved the day. I would also like to compliment our guide, Mr Thapa for his warmth that kept us at ease at all time. He is very proficient in English, and certainly did his homework well as he has proven to be very knowledgeable and has excellent understanding of Nepalese culture, religion, history and geography. Our driver is a bit shy, but he is extremely skillful and had never fail to deliver.Our trip to Bhutan was excellent. Truly, she is the ‘Last Shangrila’ on earth. Our guide, Mr Ugyen and our driver, Mr Harka had been great companions during our stay there.We would definitely return to Nepal and Bhutan, and when we do, we would choose Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks again, for obvious reasons.

He showed us special sights and he organised a private meeting with an abbot of a monastery. During our visit at the temple we had the opportunity to participate in a religious ceremony with a local family. It was just impressive and we will remember forever. Annapurna Round Trekking

My First Trip to Nepal was in October 1993. I was with a few friends from the US & Canada. We were doing the Annapurna Circuit Trek and Birendra was our Guide. He did a very good job for us. We enjoyed the Trek a lot and Birendra was a key part of our amazing trip. Again I did the Trek with Mr. Birendra in 1998 up to Manang. He made all the necessary arrangements and again I had a great time. I am looking forward to seeing Birendra & Nepal again soon. I can recommend Birendra and his services enough.

We travelled for the first time to Nepal and Tibet in autumn. Our vacation was planned many months in advance during which time we were in regular contact with Birendra from Visit Nepal-Tibet Treks. Birendra organized a trip which we will never forget. During our stay in Nepal and Tibet we were able to visit places and experience different cultures which we would have never been able to do without the great support of Birendra. We spent 2 days in Kathmandu.  On our first night, we were treated to a Nepalese dinner with folk dance performance.  The one day guided tour of Kathmandu was comprehensive. Our 5 days trek to Poon Hill was at a comfortable pace.  The trek guide was very patient but yet kept to schedule.  The porter, although carrying a heavy load, always has a smile.  The food was simple but tasteful and substantial.  Although the trek was gruesome at times, climbing rocky steps, we enjoyed the fruit of it with the awesome views of the mountain ranges, fresh air and friendly villagers.  We enjoyed our experience tremendously and brought back happy memories with us.

Your service was excellent.  We were kept informed every step of the way.  The guides were very knowledgeable and imparted valuable information about your country.  The guest houses we stayed in were relatively clean and comfortable.  We especially enjoyed meeting other trekkers at the guest houses. However, as a first time trekker in Nepal, I did have an unfortunate accident where I sprained my left ankle on the 2nd last day of our trek.  If the trek guide had warned me initially that going downhill was more difficult and hazardous, I would have been more careful and paid more attention to the rocks.  So it’ll be a tremendous help if guides warn all first time trekkers like me before starting the trek.    As mentioned above, we had a great trip to Nepal and we wish to thank you, Birendra for doing such an excellent job in all the arrangements and the excellent staff you’ve provided.  We very much hope to return to Nepal again and inshaalah we shall.  Many regards to you.
