Kathmandu Valley – Day Hiking Tour

The capital city Kathmandu has the best of both worlds: beautiful landscapes and rich Nepali culture. The picturesque view of mountain peaks, Golden sunset view, rice fields to explore the lifestyle and culture of local communities: this one-day hiking is certain to provide you with everything that Nepal has to offer.

The maximum elevation of this day hiking tour is about 2200m from the sea level where one can see the snowfall as well if you are lucky. In spring season one can see the rhododendron flowers and in autumn, you can see some other beautiful flowers.

As soon as we reach Bhaktapur by our private vehicle, we will start hiking to Nagarkot and have a Lunch there and look and walk around the beautiful Nagarkot area. After the beautiful view of the sunset, we slowly drive back to Kathmandu.

Upper Dolpo Trekking

Upper Dolpo trekking is out-of-the-way and hidden trek destination in Nepal and is situated mid-western region of Nepal inside the Shey – Phoksundo National Park, behind Mt. Dhaulagiri and near Tibet border. Upper Dolpo region is falls within Nepal but ethnically it is associated to Tibet. Dolpo is a region embraces a number of Buddhist monasteries plus those of pre-Buddhist belief of Bon Po. The region has preserved ultimate leftovers of long-established Tibetan culture. We elevate approximately up to 5000m while trekking to Upper Dolpo region.

Before 1989 this region was restricted area for the foreigner and was detached and hidden from the outer world. Since 1989, Upper Dolpo region has been introduced as a natural compilation of passes far above the ground, exceptional fauna, and eye-catching scenery which is boosted by the ancient Tibetan cultural heritage. The trekkers who are fascinated to trek to Upper Dolpo region must take aid from trekking agencies to get the trekking permit.

This region is bordered by Tibet and Dhaulagiri from north and south respectively. Leopards, Blue sheep, Himalayan Tahr, Jackal, Himalaya black Bear, Himalayan Mouse Hare, Himalayan Weasel,  yellow-throated Marten, Musk Deer, Langur, Rhesus Monkeys and other Himalayan animals can be spotted here. Royal Trek

Kanchenjunga Trekking

Kanchenjunga, one of Nepal’s spectacular trekking destinations lies just at the base of the majestic Kanchenjunga Mountain, world’s third-highest peak. This region is riddled with alpine pasture lands, thick subtropical forests and low river valleys. It is situated in north-eastern Nepal, and is surrounded by China and India. Panchase Trekking

Panchase is actually the name of a hill that is located in the Pokhara region of Nepal. Panchase lies around 2500 meters above overlooking Fewa Lake and offering splendid views of more than 8000meter mountains Daulagiri, Annapurna & Manaslu.

Panchase is a compound word meaning “five seats of the divine mother”. “Panch” means “five”, the “as” is from the root word of Asana (the Yoga schools of physical posture) meaning a seat or place and the “e(ee)” represents the female gender. The symbol of five, represents an ancient Yoga system in which a person experiences five levels of existence. Three of these levels are thinking, feeling and sensing with the Above and Below completing this symbol of manifestation. Given the mountains name, the ancient Vedics thought of Panchase as one of the ultimate places of meditation.

Panchase hill trekking is an ideal trekking destination for short trekking holidays in Nepal. Siklish Trekking

Siklish Trekking – is a spectacular & panoramic short trek around Pokhara city. The Max elevation is 3000m and it doesn’t effect the trekkers even those who have not done any trekking.  So anyone can do this trek easily without any problem.

Siklish is the biggest Gurung village with the forest of national flower rhododendron which blooms in the spring time. One can have the amazing panoramic view of mountain, including Annapruna South (7,219 m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail – 6,997 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m) and Lamjung Himal (6,983 m) and in the distance Manaslu (8,163 m), Ngadi Chuli (Peak 29) and Himalchuli (7,892 m). The inhabitants of this area are mainly Brahmins and Chhetri, though Siklish is the largest Gurung village in Nepal with 700 houses, you will get a chance to see traditional Nepalese hill life. In the springtime, you can see the blooming of white orchids and other flora in the forest. This is one of the areas where few tourists go for trekking.

Trisuli Gorkha Trekking

Trisuli Gorkha Trekking is especially for those who have a very short time but willing make a trek and see how Nepal actually looks like. Trishuli Gorkha trek is relatively easy but extremely interesting one.

As you cross the Ghorepani, you will leave the busy trail behind and continue towards Tadapani through rhododendron and oak forests. You will then follow the trail that descends to Ghandruk. Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village set against the backdrop of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. Here, you can spend time exploring the village, walking through its stone-paved lanes, and enjoying a closer look at local life in the Annapurna region.
