Everest View Trekking is the ideal short trek into the very heart of the Himalayas. A moderately easy trek; it brings you into the shadow of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world.
This trek allows you the wonderful opportunity to meet the Sherpas, the ethnic people of the Himalayas. These mountain people have long inhabited the roof of the world. Their unique culture, foods, language and religious sites are open for you to experience to the fullest.
The Everest View Trekking starts in Kathmandu with one day of sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Then, it is a flight to Lukla, the gateway to Mt. Everest. Here, you begin the trek through the beautiful rhododendron forests as you pass the terraced fields of ancient farms of the Sherpa people.
The trek takes you to Namche Bazar village where you will spend a night before trekking to Syangboche. This village offers an incredible view of not only Mt. Everest (elevation 8,848 m), but also such impressive peaks of Mt. Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Thamserku and Tawoche. These mountains ring Mt. Everest like silent sentinels with their snow capped peaks piercing the cobalt blue skies of the Himalayas.
The trip offers the finest views of Mt. Everest while avoiding the difficult trek to Everest Base Camp. It is also an ideal trek for those on a tight time budget. The actual trekking time is just 2 ½ days.
The Everest View Trekking is one of our lowest priced trips to Everest. Accommodations in Namche Bazar are very good and this mountain community has many great amenities including good restaurants.
The best time for Everest View Trekking is from March to May and October to December. These months offer the best views and usually features little to no rain. January and February can be cold at night, although the skies are usually very clear and temperatures pleasant during the day.
