Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01
    Arrive Lhasa (3680m.), Transfer to Hotel, and Free for Your Own Activities

    It is the first day of the trip. You make a flight from Kathmandu which takes you to GONGGAR Airport in about one and half hour. You can also see different Himalayan ranges and splendid mountain views from the window. After the land, you will meet your Tibetan guide who transfers you to the Hotel for adjustments and sleepover.

  • Day 02
    Lhasa, Tour of Jokhang Temple, Barkhor street and Sera Monastery

    In the morning, you will be visiting several Monasteries with your guide such as Sera Monastery. Sera Monastery is the place where hundreds of monks live which is covered with white-washed walls and golden roofs. After the lunch, you will visit the summer palace of Dalai Lama which is entitled by Jokhang Temple. Jokhang Temple is probably the most sacred shrine in all Tibet.

  • Day 03
    Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse - Shigatse (360 km, 3900m.)

    You will be starting your drive from Lhasa to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. Yamdrok Lake is said the holiest lake of all Lakes in Tibet which is also an important centre for Buddhist Pilgrimage. Gyantse is one of the remote places of Tibet which is popular for its fortress, the Khumbum, a monastery, the Pelkor Chode and the Dzong, a very special structure. After all the visits, you will be driving to Shigatse (3900m.) which is the second largest city in Tibet and the traditional capital of Tsang via Shalu Monastery. After reaching Shigatse, you will be spending your night in a Hotel.

  • Day 04
    Shigatse - Sakya - Lhatse (200 Km, 6 hour drive, 4050m.)

    In the morning, after breakfast, you visit Tashilunpo Monastery and then drive until we reach to Sakya. Later, you will be visiting to the Sakya Monastery which is one of the most famous Monasteries in Tibet. After that, you will be driving to Lhatse again and stay a night there in a Hotel.

  • Day 05
    Lhatse to Saga (306 Km, 5-6 hrs, 4600m.)

    From Lhatse, you will make a fantastic drive towards the saga enjoying the great scenario of the surroundings. The distance between these two palces is about 300 Km. thus, to complete your destination for the day, you have to drive for about 5 to 6 hours enjoying the great scenario of the surroundings. Saga is situated at the altitude of 4600m above sea level.

  • Day 06
    Saga to Lake Manasarovar (4590m.)

    Today, you start your trip by driving from Saga to Paryang which more or less take seven hours to reach and which is about 255 km far. You will go through Zhongba. After that, you start your drive yet again from Paryang to Mansarovar (Chiu Village) which is about 260km far and could possibly take six to seven hours to arrive. Later after the long and stressful drive, you will be staying in a guest house or Tents depending.

  • Day 07
    Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (60 Km, 1.5 hours, 4560m high)

    After the Holy Puja and Bath at Lake Mansarovar, you drive off to Darchen which is about 30km far and could probably take one hour to arrive. After the drive, you will be spending your time with doing whatever you want and will be staying in a Guesthouse tonight.

  • Day 08
    Trek from Darchen to Dira-Puk (4750m.)

    Your Holy trek (Kora/Parikrama) starts today where you circumambulate Mount Kailash. The day begins with an hour’s drive to Dira Puk. After that, you trek for about four hours to actually arrive at Dira Puk. You will see countless sights to western part of Mount Kailash and its extremely changing tone at sunrise and sunset. You can also arrange a horse ride or a yak ride to those people who are unwilling to go because of their fitness and age. O/N in a tent camp.

  • Day 09
    Trek from Dira-Puk to Zutul-Puk, crossing Drolma-la Pass (5200m.)

    Today, you start your trek from Dira Puk to Zutul-Puk through the great Drolma-La Pass and Shivasthal, which is one of the most highest points in your trek and legends believe that, this is the spot where Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati used to sit. It probably takes eight to nine hours to complete. Tonight, you will be staying in Tent Camps.

  • Day 10
    End of trek and drive to Mansarovar (14 Km.)

    Today, your trek starts from Zutul-Puk to Darchen which could possibly take around four hours to complete. Later that day, you will be driving off to Lake Mansarovar and it takes about an hour to reach. Tonight, you will enjoy in our tent Camps.

  • Day 11
    Mansarovar to Saga (9 hours, 4600m high)

    You start your day with a drive from Mansarovar to Paryang which is around 260 km far and which could take about six to seven hours to reach. After you arrive at Paryang, you will be starting a new drive from Paryang to Saga which takes about seven hours to reach. After the long day, you will be spending your night in a Guesthouse or in a Hotel.

  • Day 12
    Saga to old Tingri (4390m.)

    From saga, you will move towards the old Tingri enjoying the great scenario of the surroundings. The wonderful view of the surroundings will be enchanting to view. A drive for about 5 to 6 hours will be enough for you to complete your journey towards the old Tingri. Old Tingri is situated at the altitude of 4390m above sea level.

  • Day 13
    Drive Old Tingri to Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp – Rongbuk (5000m.)

    Today you start your drive from Old Tingri to Rongbuk. After you reach Rongbuk, you will be visiting to the highest Monastery in Tibet called Rongbuk Monastery from where the view of Mount Everest is the most spectacular one. Later that day, you start your trek from Rongbuk to EBC which takes around 2 hours to arrive. Soon after that, you will continue your drive to Everest Base Camp (5150m.) which is approximately 8km away. You will be back from there in no time and youwill be spending our night in a Guesthouse or something different, Rongbuk Monastery.

  • Day 14
    Drive from Rongbuk to Kerung (2300m.)

    From Rongbuk, you will drive towards the Kerung viewing the wonderful sceneries of the road. You will stay the night at Zhangmu. The total distances between these two palces is 246 Km. the Kerung is situated at the altitude of 2450m above sea level.

  • Day 15
    Drive Kerung to Kathmandu

    This day is the last and final day of your tour where you will drive to Kathmandu.
