Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01
    Arrived at Kathmandu (1400m.)

    Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon/evening. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 02
    Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour of Swayambhunath/Kathmandu Durbar Square/Patan City

    Swayambhunath: The large Buddhist temple lies on a hill west of Kathmandu, recognized as the ‘Monkey Temple’. Kathmandu Durbar Square: Famous for beautiful palaces including Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kasthamandap Temple, and other temples built between 1200-1768 A.D., showcasing Nepalese cultural heritage. Patan City: Patan Durbar Square is praised for its art and architecture, with shrines constructed between the 16th-18th centuries. Return to hotel in Kathmandu for rest.

  • Day 03
    Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour of Pashupatinath/Bauddhanath/Bhaktapur

    Boudhanath: The largest ancient Buddhist Stupa in Nepal, built in the 4th century A.D., center for Tibetan exiles. Pashupatinath: Major Hindu temple on Bagmati River, central Shiva temple attracting pilgrims. Bhaktapur: City of Rice, preserves traditional wood carvings, Durbar Square, pottery square, Nyatapola, Dattatreya Temples, and more. Try the famous ‘juju dhau’. Return to hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 04
    Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 km.)

    After breakfast, drive 5-6 hours to Pokhara with scenic river and landscape views. Check-in at hotel, refresh, and enjoy sightseeing: Gupteshore cave, Davis Falls, and boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 05
    Pokhara - Sarangkot - Kathmandu (200 km.)

    Early morning visit to Sarangkot for sunrise over the Western Himalayas. Return to Pokhara for breakfast and proceed to Kathmandu via 5-6 hour drive or domestic flight (~30 min). Check-in at hotel and stay overnight.

  • Day 06
    Departure

    After breakfast, depart for airport or your next destination.
