  • Day 01
    Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our representative at the airport and transfer to hotel. Short Briefing of your Tour. Check in to the Hotel. Rest for free Afternoon. In the evening, typical Nepali dinner with folk dance performances O/n at Hotel.

  • Day 02
    Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour of Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan City

    After Breakfast you will be taken for sightseeing tour of:
    Swayambhunath:
    At the peak of a green hill west of Kathmandu, stands the huge self born Buddhist Stupa. This is a place where Manjushree, the legendary patriarch mystically discovered the lotus of the prehistoric gorge lake some 2500 years back. Created to specific system each one with a symbolic importance, the stupa of Swayambhunath is a model of its type. Swayambhunath, which is also traditionally referred as a Monkey Temple provides the best view point for the entire Kathmandu valley as well.
    Kathmandu City:
    You will have a trip to Katmandu Durbar Square which includes Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient and historic palace named after God monkey, Hanuman. And, go around the temple of Kumari, the residence of Living Goddess. Kumari means the chaste girl. After that you will see a very attractive temple Kasthamandap which is believed to be constructed from a single tree trunk and the name Katmandu is derived from this temple.
    Patan City:
    The Patan Durbar Square has been highly praised as one of the richest city for art and architecture in Nepal. Most of the shrines seen today were constructed between the 16th to 18th centuries. It is recognized as the hub of sculpture and for the excellent craft of the artist.

    Kathmandu sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath/Bouddha/Bhaktapur

    After Breakfast Sightseeing Tour of:
    Boudhanath:
    The colossal ancient 36 meters high Buddhist Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and also one of the largest ancient Stupa in South Asia is located in the east of the valley. It was built by the Lichchhavi King Mana Dev in the 4th century A.D. The Rinpoches who reside here have established Boudhnath as one of the most flourishing centers of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. Therefore it is referred as a “Little Tibet”. Bouddhanath area is densely populated by the presence of different Buddhist monks and Tibetan refugees with more than 30 different monasteries (Buddhist schools)
    Pashupatinath:
    Pashupatinath Temple, a world famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. It lies 5 km. east of the city on the bank of the Holy River, Bagmati. Open crimination of death body on wooden pyre on the bank of the River has been astonishingly observed by countless Foreigners and locals for the centuries! Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple every day. Entrance to the temple’s inner premises is forbidden to non-Hindus but the overall view of temple can be seen from the back side. The Large, gilded triple-roofed temple was built in 1696 A.D. though 300 years earlier this structure was there on this site.
    Bhaktapur City:
    Bhaktapur, the term signifying to city of devotees, a former capital city of the Kathmandu valley was once a flourishing city on the trade route to Tibet. It has preserved its traditional character better than the other two cities, due to its more isolated location. It is regarded today as a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese urban life. It is situated in the east of Kathmandu valley in the distance of 14 km. Today, it retains much of its beauty in the form of ornate woodcarvings, famed Golden Gate, big and spacious Durbar Square( Palace area), potter shaping their pottery, intriguing masks hanging here and there, 55windows palace, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath and Dattatreya Temples and the fascinating live Newari ( specific cast) life styles, their way of living . This World Heritage site mystically takes us back to the reminiscent of the 12th centaury onwards to late 18th centaury!. After visiting Bhaktapur city we will drive for Nagarkot a beautiful hillside known for its panoramic mountain views and sunrise and sunset as well.

  • Day 04
    Kathmandu to Shivapuri (2563m)

    The starting point is Budhanilakantha , short drive away before continuing on to Shivapuri. On route there are spectacular views of Annapurna , Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Jugal Himal. The camp at Shivapuri, situated on the second highest hill around Kathmandu valley, also offers panoramic views of the Himalayan range.

  • Day 05
    Shivapuri to Chisapani (2150m)

    There’s an opportunity to enjoy sunrise over the mountains before continuing on to Chisapani about 4 hours away. The route is fairly easy offering fine views of the Himalayas as well the lush landscape. Overnight at Chisapani.

  • Day 06
    Chisapani to Nagarkot (2175M)

    An interesting trail leads to the hill retreat of Nagarkot which commands sweeping views of the Himalayas. Five of the world’s ten highest peaks, Everest, Lhotse, Choyu, Makalu and Manaslu are visible from here. Sunset and sunrise can also be enjoyed.

  • Day 07
    Return to Kathmandu – Departure

    After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu airport for final departure for your onward destination.
