Ghalegaun Trekking – is the short trek for those willing to see amazing view of Annapurna range, culture of Gurung social group and unique village. It is located on north central Nepal.

Ghalegaun trek is a common and rudimentary short trekking route that takes you to a traditional Nepali village. Ghalegaun is the cultural village of Gurungs that lies on the floor of the Annapurna trekking area. It introduces the distinctive and indigenous culture followed by the Gurung people residing there. Trip Itinerary

Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up at the airport and will drop you off at your hotel. There, we will provide a short briefing about your tour. You will have a free afternoon today to rest in the hotel.
Day 02
Kathmandu - Besisahar - Khudi (790m)

Driving Dynamics: 6 hour drive in a private vehicle
After breakfast, we will drive you to Khudi through Prithivi Highway where you can see the gurgling Marsyangdi River below.We will stop for lunch on the way.Then camp will be set with the beautiful view of the river & the greenery for the night in Khudi.
Day 03
Khudi - Ghalegaun

After breakfast made by our cook in the fresh air of Marsyangdi River, we will start our trek to the main attraction called Ghalegaun. Ghalegaun is inhabited by the tribe of Gurung people. You will be welcomed by the Gurung mothers there.They will amaze you with their beautiful local singing & dancing program. We will set camp at Ghalegaun tonight amidst the amiable company of the Gurungs.
Day 04
Ghalegaun

Today we get to explore the whole of Ghalegaun meticulously for the whole day. We will again set camp for tonight at Ghalegaun itself.
Day 05
Ghalegaun - Baglung Pani (1595m)

After breakfast, we will Trek to yet another Gurung village named Baglungpani. You get to fully immerse yourself in the Gurung culture on this trip. We will set camp here for tonight.
Day 06
Baglung Pani - Laxmi Bazar

Today a 5 hour trek to Laxmi Bazar commences after all of us have had our breakfast. You can enjoy the offerings of Laxmi Bazar for the day and we set camp for the night.
Day 07
Laxmi Bazar - Pokhara

Our trek today will be to the beautiful Begnas lake. After we’ve reached there we drive to Pokhara, where for the rest of the day you can explore the city and relax in the various lakes that speckle Pokhara. After the day is done you get to rest in a hotel in Pokhara.
