Trip Itinerary

Day 01
ARRIVED AT KATHMANDU (1400M)

You will first land at Kathmandu airport and meet with our representatives who transfer you to your Hotel. Our representatives will give you a short description of your tour. After that, you will have some time to settle in and check the hotel. In the afternoon, rest and later in the evening, enjoy Nepali dinner with live folk dance performances. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02
KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING TOUR - NAGARKOT (2915M)

After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple to witness cremation rituals and local life. Proceed to Patan to explore its arts and architecture, then Bhaktapur with sights including 55 Windows Palace, Nyatapola, Durbar Square, Dattatreya Temple, and Bhairavnath Temple. In the evening, drive to Nagarkot for stunning sunset and Himalayan peak views, including Mt. Everest. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03
NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU – SIGHTSEEING

Early morning, witness sunrise view in Nagarkot. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Sightseeing includes Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kasthamandap Temple, and other shrines. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04
KATHMANDU

Free day to prepare for Tibet Tour. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05
FLY FROM KATHMANDU TO LHASA (3680M)

Transfer to Nepal Airport after breakfast for flight to Lhasa. Enjoy scenic flight over mountains to Gongar Airport. Tibetan guide will pick you up and transfer to Hotel. Rest at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06
LHASA (3680M)

Visit Jokhang Temple after breakfast, then explore Barkhor Street and Drepung Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07
LHASA (3680M)

Visit Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama, and Sera Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08
LHASA - GYANTSE (3950M) - SHIGATSE (3900M)

Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse, passing Khamba La Pass and Yamdrok Lake. Visit Gyantse Kumbum, then drive to Shigatse to visit Tashilunpo Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09
SHIGATSE - SHEGAR (4300M)

Pass through Lhatse and cross Gyatmso La, enjoying Tibetan plateau landscapes. See nomadic herders, countryside, and monasteries. Overnight at Hotel in Shegar.
Day 10
SHEGAR - RONGBUK - EVEREST BASE CAMP - RONGBUK (5000M)

Drive from Shegar to Rongbuk or walk/take bus to Everest Base Camp. After visiting Everest Base Camp, return to Rongbuk for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11
RONGBUK (5000M) - KERONG (2450M)

Continue along Friendship Highway crossing Lalung La and Shung La passes. Admire views of Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Gauri Shankar, and more. Descend to lush Kerung. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12
KERUNG (2450M) - KATHMANDU (1400M) 123KM

Leave Zhangmu in the morning and cross the Nepal-Tibet border at the Friendship Bridge. Say goodbye to Tibetan guide and driver. Nepalese staff will assist at Kerung immigration. Drive 5 hours to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13
KATHMANDU - PARO (2250M) - THIMPU (2320M)

Flight from Kathmandu to Paro. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Continue to Thimpu for overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 14
THIMPU SIGHTSEEING (2320M)

Explore Thimpu city, visit Handicrafts Emporium. Drive over Dochu La pass to Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong, Wangdi Dzong, and return to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15
PUNAKHA (1310M) - PARO (SIGHTSEEING)

Drive to Paro via Simtokha Dzong. Visit National Museum, Satsam Chorten Monastery, and Paro Dzong. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 16
PARO (2250M)

Visit Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) via 2-hour trek to viewpoint, then continue to the monastery and return. Optionally explore Paro marketplace. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 17
FLY PARO TO KATHMANDU (1350M)

Transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu. Relaxing afternoon in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18
DEPARTURE

Transfer to Kathmandu airport for your return flight home. End of tour.
