Mera Peak is one of the renowned and the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. It mounts from the south of Everest and overlooks the turning point between the natural and deeply forested valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas. It is a trouble-free snow climb on the way to Mera Peak but at times crevasses set hurdles. As the ascend of Mera Peak keeps moving up two more High Base Camps are set at 5385m and further higher one at 5800m.
The most rewarding part of the Mera Peak climbing is to walk on the rarely walked region of Nepal, where the hillsides are densely and our path goes all the way through the pristine oak, rhododendron, birch, silver fir forest. Also, on the way, you can observe Mera Glacier and striking alpine lake. Besides, Mera Peak trek will let you go around traditional Sherpa villages of the Solu Khumbu which will be a daydream experience. Day 01Arrival Kathmandu Airport & Transfer to Hotel
After you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport and then s/he will transfer you to hotel. Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is all yours and overnight at hotel.

Day 02Prepare permit & trekking gears
Today our experienced and skilled guide will brief you about the trek. And you will be preparing for permit and get ready with all the necessary equipments for trekking. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03Trek Lukla to Chutanga, Overnight at Lodge
In the morning you will take around 40 minutes flight to Lukla airport. You have an easy day all the way through the forest above Lukla. A fine trail takes you through meadow to the edge of pine and rhododendron forest which covers the vertical hills above Lukla. After around 3 hours you get to Chutanga. Overnight at lodge in Chutanga.

Day 04Trek Chutanga to Khartitang, Overnight at Lodge
It takes about 6 hours to trek from Chutanga to Khartitang. You walk passing through Zatrawa La Pass (4610m.) with a vertical climb. From here you will see the amazing views of Kongdi Ri, Numbur Himal, Karyolang peak and several other mountains and peaks. Then after, you move down to Khartitang at 3900m.

Day 05Trek Khatitang to Nau Lekha, Overnight at Lodge
Today you trek to Nau Lekha from Khartitang. This is enjoyable trekking as you pass through lush valleys and a number of settlements. You can see the sights of the surrounding all along the route to Nau Lekha. Overnight at Lodge in Naulekha.

Day 06Trek Nau Lekha to Kothey, Overnight at Lodge
You move along the trail to get to Kothey leaving Nau Lekha today. The enjoyably track descends all the way through forest. You will see huts, shepherds and meadows along the trail. The sight of peaks and forests are captivatingly beautiful en route to Kothey. You stay overnight at Lodge in Kothey.

Day 07Trek Kothey to Thangnak, Overnight at Lodge
Today you walk from Kothey to Thangnak (4356m.) passing all the way through Hinku Valley (4600m.). You will be walking along the bank of river. The path further ascends and you can take the pleasure of the peak views like Kusum Kanguru peak and many others. Overnight at lodge in Thangnak.

Day 08Trek Thangnak to Khare, Overnight at Lodge
You today, move from Thangnak and walk towards the peak as the way moves to the east. You reach at an altitude and get yourselves at Khare close to the base of the Hinku Nup Glacier. Overnight at Lodge in Kahre.

Day 09From Khare trek to Mera BC, Overnight at Camp
On this day, you arrive at Mera Base Camp which lies on the elevation of 5300m taking about 6 hours. The trail is full of enormous views of Himalayas. Upon reaching the Mera base camp, you will be free to walk around the surrounding of Mera Peak. You set your camp to stay overnight.

Day 10From Mera Base Camp climb to High Camp
On this day, you climb to High Camp at an elevation of 5750m. Your way up is not very lengthy one but has few challenging paths. From here the sight of the gigantic mountains and snow-topped peaks give you awesome impression. You put your tent at high camp and stay overnight.

Day 11From High Camp reach the summit 6654m. & Back to Base camp
Today is the day to reach to the top of Mera Peak (6476m.). The amazing views of Mt. Everest, Chamlang Nuptse and many other peaks having height over eight thousand metres are visible from the summit of the peak which is an unforgettable experience. You descend back to base Camp and stay overnight there.

Day 12Trek from Mera Base Camp to Khare, Overnight at Lodge
On this day, you retrace your steps back to Khare after having the experience of reaching at the top of the peak and witnessing the unforgettable views. Also, the views are pleasing while walking down to Khare from the base camp. You will stay overnight at Lodge in Khare.

Day 13From Khare trek to Kothey, Overnight at Lodge
You depart from Khare to arrive at Kothey which takes about 8 hours. This day you march all along the steady descent trail passing all the way through Tangnang, a small village where you will see yak settlement. On the way you leave behind forests enclosed with rhododendron, fir and local vegetation.

Day 14From Kothey trek to Khartitang, Overnight at Lodge
You will trek back to Khartitang from Kothey today. You keep walking all through the same enjoyable views of natural plants and scenery. You get to Khartitang and set your camp for overnight stay.

Day 15Trek Khartitang to Chutanga, Overnight at Lodge
You will walk back to Chutanga from Khartitang today descending down and passing all the way through forest of rhododendrons. The striking views of Himalayan range seem to be pleasing and the views are terrific. You arrive at Chutanga and set your camp for overnight stay.

Day 16Chutanga to Lukla, Overnight at Lodge
Today, trek from Chutanga to Lukla taking about four hours. You trek through forests of rhododendron, fir, oak, juniper and other different vegetation. The track you walk down takes you to Lukla. Here, you can enjoy the views of Numbur Himal, Karyolang peak, Kongdi Ri and many other mountains and peaks.

Day 17Take a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel
Early in the morning; you take a scenic flight from Lukla for getting back to Kathmandu. We will transfer you back to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 18Rest day in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel
Today is free day on your own in Kathmandu, there will be chances of flight cancel or delay by the weather so we need keep one extra day as reserve. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 19Shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel
Today, we will organize sightseeing program around Kathmandu Valley. After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing trip to Boudhanath Stupa, the second biggest stupa in the world. Also, you will visit around Swayambhunath Stupa which is also known as ‘Monkey Temple’ and observe attractive view of Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath temple, famous Hindus temple is another spot to explore. And, going around Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square will be worthy one since these are renowned places for art and architecture and are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage List.
